Registered Nurse

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and dependable Staff Nurse to join our team, providing high-quality nursing care and support to older adults within our care home.

The successful candidate will be committed to maintaining the dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing of the people we support and will work closely with residents, families, colleagues and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a Registered Nurse with a current UK NMC registration.
• Have previous nursing experience within a UK care home for older adults.
• Have the existing right to work in the UK.
• Be able to communicate effectively with residents, relatives and colleagues.
• Have good knowledge of medication management, care planning and risk assessment.
• Be able to recognise and respond appropriately to changes in a resident’s health and wellbeing.
• Be confident in leading and supporting care staff during the shift.
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

Main Responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse, your duties will include:

• Providing safe, effective and person-centred nursing care.
• Administering and managing medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Completing and reviewing care plans and risk assessments.
• Monitoring residents’ health and responding to any changes or concerns.
• Liaising with GPs, pharmacies, hospitals and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
• Supporting residents and their families with compassion and professionalism.
• Leading the care team and providing guidance and support to staff.
• Ensuring residents are treated with dignity, respect, kindness and compassion at all times.
• Following safeguarding, infection prevention and health and safety procedures.
• Supporting high standards of care throughout the home.

Pay: £18.00-£23.00 per hour
