As a Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating patient care within our healthcare facility. Your expertise will guide nursing staff, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll be the driving force behind effective communication among healthcare teams and will champion best practices in patient management.

What you’ll do

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional development and teamwork.
• Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Manage critical situations with confidence, utilizing your experience in acute care and emergency medicine.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Basic qualifications

• Current nursing license in good standing
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Background experience in Dialysis,PACU, ER, ICU, or similar

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with or eClinical
• Background in critical care or emergency medicine
• Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
• Proficiency in acute pain management, triage, and medication administration
• Experience working with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions
• Managerial skills is a plus
