Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Monitor patient health status by assessing symptoms, vital signs, and responses to treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Document patient information thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety standards, and facility policies.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff or nursing assistants as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Experience

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting; SNF experience is a plus!
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle diverse patient needs effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and patient interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
