Registered Nurse (RN) – Assisted Living

Allwell Assisted Living is a small, home-style residential assisted living community dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to our residents. We are looking for a caring and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide clinical oversight and support to our residents and care staff.

Position

Registered Nurse (RN)Pay: $40–$50/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Part-time / flexible schedule 2-3 days a week with oncall availability

Location: Apple Valley, MN

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing oversight and clinical support for residents
• Complete and/or oversee resident assessments and reassessments
• Review and update care plans and service plans as needed
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and determine appropriate follow-up
• Communicate with providers, pharmacies, families, and other members of the care team
• Provide direction and support to PCA/care staff
• Provide and document staff training and competency supervision
• Review medication-related concerns and provide nursing guidance
• Respond to changes in resident condition and assist with determining when additional medical evaluation is needed
• Assist with incident follow-up, documentation, and quality improvement
• Support compliance with Minnesota assisted living regulations and facility policies
• Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Minnesota RN license
• Previous nursing experience required; assisted living, long-term care, home health, or geriatric experience preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Comfortable working independently and making clinical decisions
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to older adults
• Ability to provide leadership and guidance to care staff
