Registered Nurse / IV Therapy (IVT)

Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse with IV Therapy expertise will provide comprehensive nursing care in a clinic environment, specializing in the safe administration and management of intravenous therapies. The role involves close patient interaction, assessment, and education to support outpatient treatment and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments to determine suitability for IV therapy in an outpatient setting.
• Administer intravenous fluids, medications, and treatments following physician orders and clinic protocols.
• Insert, maintain, and monitor IV catheters, ensuring patient comfort and prevention of complications such as infections or infiltration.
• Monitor patients during and after IV treatments for any adverse reactions or side effects.
• Educate patients about their IV therapy, including home care instructions and potential side effects.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation of IV therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with clinic safety standards, hygiene protocols, and infection control measures.
• Handle clinic emergencies related to IV therapy promptly and efficiently.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay current with best practices in nursing and IV therapy.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse license, valid and in good standing.
• Certification or specialized training in Intravenous Therapy (IVT) preferred.
• Experience working in a clinic or outpatient healthcare setting is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient education.
• Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Detail-oriented with good judgment and critical thinking skills.

Pay: Php19,630.00 per month
