Position Overview

MedEx is seeking a compassionate, professional, and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinical team in Bangkok. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and assist physicians in delivering healthcare services to both Thai and international patients. The role encompasses in-clinic nursing, home healthcare services, telemedicine support, and assistance with preventive healthcare and corporate wellness programs.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, record vital signs, review relevant medical history, and support physicians during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
• Perform blood draws and other specimen collection within nursing scope, ensuring accurate patient identification, labeling, documentation, storage, and coordination with partner laboratories.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, vaccinations, and IV therapy in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols. Monitor patients and promptly report adverse reactions.
• Assist with health checkups, preventive care, and other clinical services while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide approved nursing services, including sample collection and prescribed treatments, at patients’ homes, hotels, or other designated locations.
• Gather patient information, coordinate online consultations, and support physician-directed follow-up care.
• Explain test preparation, specimen collection procedures, prescribed care instructions, and follow-up steps clearly to Thai and international patients.
• Work with physicians, customer service staff, laboratories, and partner hospitals to arrange appointments, referrals, and follow-ups. Escalate abnormal results or clinical concerns to the responsible physician.
• Document nursing assessments, procedures, medications, patient responses, and care instructions in MedEx’s digital systems.
• Follow infection prevention procedures, manage clinical waste safely, and check that equipment, supplies, and emergency resources are ready for use.

Minimum Qualification and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Thailand Nursing Council.
• At least one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably two years or more. Outstanding new graduates may also be considered.
• Experience in outpatient clinics, emergency care, preventive healthcare, telemedicine, or home healthcare is an advantage.
• Strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Thai and a good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international patients.
