Registered Nurse

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at Heartland Cardiology in Wichita, KS,

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessments including physical exams and health histories.
• Administers medications and vaccinations.
• Monitors chronic conditions and provides management strategies.
• Educates patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Coordinates with physicians to deliver integrated care.
• Maintains accurate patient records and charts.
• Follows up on patient test results and referrals.
• Manages acute health episodes.
• Provides counseling and support to patients and families.
• Advocates for patients’ health needs.
• Implements infection control protocols.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

Minimum Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited Nursing program with a current unrestricted State Nursing (RN) license.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• CLIA II Waived Analyzers certification.
• Experience in a clinical setting.
