Practice Nurse – General Practice

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with a strong commitment to patient-centred care. A genuine passion for general practice, childhood development, immunisation, chronic disease management, and wound care is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering immunisations
• Managing chronic disease care plans
• Providing wound care and dressing management
• Assisting GPs with minor surgical procedures
• Conducting triage and clinical assessments
• Participating in quality improvement and infection control initiatives
• Overseeing clinical stock and inventory management

Essential Criteria:

• Current AHPRA registration
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong patient and doctor-focused approach
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a team environment
