Registered Nurse

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing support to a young adults receiving services through Pennsylvania's Office of Developmental Programs (ODP).

The RN will provide safe, person-centered nursing care in the individual's home and community while supporting her Individual Support Plan (ISP), health and safety needs, independence, communication, social engagement, and mobility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building a meaningful relationship with individuals and providing consistent, individualized care.

Duties

• Provide skilled nursing care according to the individual's physician orders, nursing plan of care, and ISP.
• Monitor the individual's health status and recognize changes requiring nursing intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor and document seizure activity and follow established seizure protocols.
• Provide appropriate health and safety monitoring throughout the shift.
• Follow aspiration/choking precautions and other established safety protocols.
• Assist with safe mobility and transfers as appropriate.
• Monitor for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly.
• Follow emergency procedures and agency policies.
• Communicate with the individual's family/caregivers, healthcare providers, supervisor, and Supports Coordinator as appropriate.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.

Pay: $50.00 per hour
