  • Strong familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms; experience with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in critical care procedures like airway management, trauma medicine, neonatal resuscitation procedures (NRP), or dialysis is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with memory care or dementia care is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform complex technical skills such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, and laboratory specimen handling.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective triage assessments and interdisciplinary collaboration in fast-paced environments such as Level I/II trauma centers or urgent care clinics.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients using Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility aids like wheelchairs or Hoyer lifts.
