Registered Nurse

On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) Needed

We are seeking an experienced On-Call Registered Nurse to provide services in a skilled nursing setting on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Peripheral IV insertion and replacement
• IV medication and fluid administration, as ordered
• Assessment and monitoring of IV sites
• PICC or central-line care, if qualified
• Documentation of services provided
• Communication with facility nursing staff regarding treatment and follow-up needs
• Compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted California RN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong IV insertion and venipuncture skills
• Experience in skilled nursing, home health, infusion therapy, or acute care preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to respond to requests as needed
• Professional liability insurance preferred

This is a per diem/on-call position with no guaranteed hours. Compensation will be discussed based on the service provided, availability, and experience.
