About the role

Pulse & Richard Evans Vascular are a well-established private healthcare clinic entering a phase of strategic growth. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team.

Based in Auckland, this role will begin as part-time with the potential to expand over time. Further training will be provided to the successful candidate as required.

The job could involve prepping and packing for clinics, scrubbing and supporting the surgeon in minor procedures, as well as patient pre calls and follow up.

This role will include rostered travel within New Zealand. Sometimes this travel may involve an overnight stay.

We’re a small, busy, private specialist vascular practice that’s growing. We’re friendly and work collaboratively.

Our HQ is in vibrant Ghuznee St, Wellington with a base in Auckland to open in the near future. We work closely with our team of sonographers vein and arterial treatments, and travel to different locations nationwide offering varicose vein treatments. Ours is a modern, mobile business.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

• flexible and able to travel to other clinics
• approachable, with excellent communications skills, both written and oral
• thorough, caring and professional
• willing to learn new skills
• a team player.

Professional requirements:

• A registered nurse with a current practising certificate.
• Vascular nursing background an advantage but training will be provided.
• Experienced in a theatre/clinic environment – desirable.
• Experience with medical software – desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including our patients and their family/whanau, as well as other healthcare professionals at our clinics, other team members and providers.
• Experienced in maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Current driver licence.
