Pain Management Registered Nurse Location: Coeur d’Alene Category: Nursing SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse provides support, education, and consultative services for patients with complex pain management needs as well as those receiving chronic pain and interventional pain management treatment including epidural steroid injections, IV sedations, monitoring patients during procedures, intrathecal pain pump management.

The position will include monitoring and supporting education to maintain staff competencies related to pain management, universal precautions, sterile technique, OSHA regulations, Medicare regulations, QuadASF standards and provide quality and safety to our patients. The RN will also assist in medical support and coordinates the pain plan of care through collaboration with the primary nurse practitioner, physician, and pharmacist. Triaging patient phone calls from patients.

This is a leadership role with Certified Nurses Assistances and Medical Assistances under your guidance. Streamline workflow and providing excellent customer service is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as a clinic and an acute care setting. We will train.
• Current Idaho License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
• EHR experience
