Registered Nurse

Duties

• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns
• Administer medications, injections, and intravenous (IV) infusions
• Support triage, diagnostic evaluation, acute pain management, infection control, and emergency response
• Document assessments, treatments, and care plans in electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic health record (EHR) systems; protect patient privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
• Coordinate intake, case management, discharge planning, and patient education with the care team

Skills

• Nursing license required for the applicable jurisdiction; basic life support (BLS) certification may be required by the role or setting
• Essential: patient care, patient assessment, medication administration, medical documentation, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology knowledge, and aseptic technique
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic; familiarity with ICD-9, ICD-10, ICD coding, Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding, and Minimum Data Set (MDS) documentation is a plus.
• Additional experience in phlebotomy, behavioral health, geriatrics, or developmental-disability care is valued.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
