Registered Nurse - Days

Role Overview The position involves working in dedicated units focused on nursing education and patient care.

As part of the Educational Unit , you will teach and mentor newly hired or upcoming graduate nurses, fostering their fundamental skills in a supportive environment.

In the Orientation Unit , you will care for Medical Telemetry patients with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and act as a preceptor for two newly hired caregivers, sharing your expertise to ensure their success.

In the Education Unit , you will support the development of nursing students and upcoming graduates, caring for Medical Telemetry patients with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, while precepting students and contributing to their clinical learning experiences.

Key responsibilities include providing expert nursing care, mentoring students and new staff, and promoting best practices in patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Valid RN license in the state or through a compact license, maintained actively.
• Certifications: AHA Healthcare Provider card required; ACLS and BLS certifications must be obtained within 90 days of hire or during probation.
