Hiring: Registered Nurse (RN)-Staff Nurse - NICU

• Position : Registered Nurse (RN)-Staff Nurse - NICU
• Location: 300 Hospital Parkway Mt Vernon WA 98273
• Shift: 12 hours night shift
• Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (Possible Extension).
• Travel Pay: $80-$90/HR on W2
• Local Pay: $75-$80/HR on W2

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Staff Nurse - NICU
• BLS/BCLS
• NRP
• Active WA state RN License or Compact License- Required

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to premature, critically ill, and newborn infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Assess, monitor, and document newborns’ vital signs, oxygen levels, neurological status, and overall clinical condition.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols.
• Manage neonatal equipment, including ventilators, incubators, monitors, and oxygen delivery systems.
• Assist with respiratory support, feeding management, and thermoregulation for premature and critically ill newborns.
• Recognize changes in neonatal conditions and promptly respond to emergencies, including neonatal resuscitation when required.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate and support parents and families regarding newborn care, feeding, treatment plans, and discharge preparation.

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
