iDEAL HIRE is hiring a new Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) for our client, an outpatient surgery center. This is a 13-week Travel contract role, working in Pittsfield, MA.

Role Details

• Compensation: $3,814 weekly pay package

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201
• Schedule: Days, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with on-call as needed

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant during surgical procedures.
• Support surgical teams in an outpatient surgery center setting.
• Float to the main operating room as needed.
• Provide first-assist support while maintaining patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotation based on department needs.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff throughout the perioperative process.
• Follow facility protocols, compliance standards, and surgical workflow expectations.

What We're Looking For

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required; conditional license accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of RNFA experience required.
• CNOR certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• COVID vaccination status required.
• Experience in outpatient, ambulatory surgery, or operating room environments preferred.
• Travelers only; local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.
