Registered Nurse - Flex Unit

Role Overview Seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a mental health setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, documenting care, and evaluating outcomes. The nurse warmly welcomes patients, ensures a safe therapeutic environment, and collaborates with departments for admissions, transfers, and discharges.

The role involves interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data, participate in interdisciplinary planning, and address medical and psychosocial needs. The nurse assists in department goal attainment, participates in staff training, supervises direct care, and manages resources within budget constraints. Qualifications

• Valid Illinois RN license and CPR certification
• Optional: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and familiarity with therapeutic systems
• Must maintain confidentiality and possess a nursing degree
