Registered Nurse - General PCU

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and care transitions, within a collaborative healthcare setting. The registered nurse (RN) supports professional practice, plans, implements, evaluates, and communicates all aspects of patient care according to established standards and models.

Key responsibilities include leading activities such as preceptorship, participating in quality improvement, mentoring, and delegating tasks based on patient acuity and resource availability. Strong communication, teaching, critical thinking, and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications include a nursing program graduate, current RN licensure, Basic Life Support certification, and preferably one year of relevant experience. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends, and the ability to adapt to changing situations are required. Additional state or specialty certifications may be necessary depending on the work area.

Compensation ranges from $43.84 to $66.84 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for professional growth. The position is part-time, working 48 hours per pay period with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts every third weekend/holiday. The role may require driving personal vehicle for certain responsibilities.
