It is the designated trauma center for Montgomery County, is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, and offers complex and routine care for various specialties

Unit Info

• Intermediate Care Unit (20-bed Trauma, complex trauma, CV and acute medical Surgical patient).
• High acuity patients

Minimum Education And Experience

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland (or other Nurse Licensure Compact state)
• Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months RN acute care PCU or IMCU experience required. Preferred, 1-year plus high acute Hospital experience or more.
