Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit

Role Overview:

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a clinical setting. They utilize evidence-based practices, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs.

• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education.

• Coordinate safe, quality care documentation and promote teamwork through interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice.

• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled workforce, participate in protocol development, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS, required upon hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
