As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective and compassionate nursing care whilst providing clinical leadership across the service. You will lead shifts, oversee high standards of care, make sound clinical decisions and work collaboratively with the people we support, their families and healthcare professionals to ensure the very best outcomes for those in our care.

If you are committed to delivering outstanding care and want to work for an organisation that values and invests in its people, we'd love to hear from you.

What do you get in return for your compassion and commitment?

At Priority Care Group, we believe in taking care of the people who care for others. Here's what we offer to support your wellbeing and development:

  • Competitive salary.
  • Priority Rewards Scheme.
  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme.
  • Enhanced overtime rates (currently time and a half), subject to business need and approval.
  • Additional annual leave linked to length of service.
  • Loyalty bonus payments for length of service.
  • Free uniform.
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing training to support your confidence and success from day one.
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression and continued professional development.
  • A strong support network within an established, reputable and forward-thinking organisation.

Benefits are non-contractual and may be amended or withdrawn at any time.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts and provide clinical leadership across the service.
  • Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
  • Safely administer medications and treatments in line with professional standards and Company policies.
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of the people we support, recognising signs of deterioration and taking appropriate clinical action.
  • Complete clinical assessments, care planning, reviews and risk assessments tailored to the needs of the people we support.
  • Work collaboratively with the people we support, their families, GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, paramedics and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate care records, medication records and clinical documentation.
  • Support, supervise and mentor care staff, providing clinical guidance and leadership.
  • Promote safeguarding, infection prevention and safe clinical practice.
  • Contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives and inspection readiness.
  • Ensure care is delivered in line with NMC standards, Health Social Care Standards, Care Inspectorate requirements and Company policies.

What We're Looking For

  • Current NMC registration with an active Nursing PIN.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, ideally within a care home or similar care setting.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, medication management and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Experience assessing needs, developing person-centred care plans and reviewing outcomes.
  • Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
  • The confidence to lead shifts and support the wider care team.
  • A compassionate, professional and person-centred approach to care.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high clinical standards.

Experience in dementia care, mentoring colleagues or undertaking additional clinical training would be advantageous but is not essential.

This role requires PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to obtain) and satisfactory references in line with Safer Recruitment guidance.
