Registered Nurse – Per Diem – Float Pool

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse in a Per Diem float pool, providing direct patient care across multiple hospital sites.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with scope of practice and standards.
• Address patients’ physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs throughout their stay.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests following policies.
• Evaluate patient responses and modify care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate proactively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives and unit goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum one year of bedside nursing experience, with recent float or travel nursing background.
• Ability to work day/night rotations and rotate between multiple hospital locations.
• Graduate from a specialty training program.
