Registered Nurse – PRN Tier Plan

This role is a PRN nursing position offering a flexible schedule with multiple tiered pay rates based on shifts completed, including shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

• Practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex patient care.
• Applying the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients.
• Addressing patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administering medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assessing learning needs and providing education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Making appropriate care assignments and delegations to team members.

Qualifications and skills required:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
