Position Summary

Prosperity Training Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP), support our instructors, and help expand access to healthcare education.

The RN Program Coordinator oversees the quality, compliance, and delivery of our online and in-person NATP offerings. This role also leads curriculum development, supports the development of additional training programs, and partners with the Administrator and Outreach Department to increase student enrollment month over month.

The ideal candidate combines nursing experience with strong instructional leadership, organizational skills, and an interest in building successful healthcare training programs.

Essential Responsibilities

NATP Oversight and Regulatory Compliance

  • Serve as the RN Program Coordinator for Prosperity Training Center’s Montana NATP, obtaining and maintaining required Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) approval.
  • Ensure program delivery meets applicable state and federal requirements and follows the approved curriculum.
  • Oversee classroom, online, skills laboratory, and clinical instruction, including required hours, student competency evaluations, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate program records, instructor qualification files, and student training records in coordination with administrative staff.
  • Lead program audits, regulatory reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate required submissions and obtain applicable approvals before implementing changes to curriculum, program delivery, or training locations.

Instructor Leadership and Development

  • Directly supervise, support, and evaluate program instructors.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding qualified instructors.
  • Coordinate instructor assignments, staffing coverage, and course schedules.
  • Observe instruction and provide coaching to strengthen teaching effectiveness, consistency, and student engagement.
  • Identify and coordinate instructor training and professional development.
  • Provide instructional support or coverage when needed and permitted by applicable qualifications and approvals.

Curriculum and Program Development

  • Develop, review, and update curriculum, lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and skills checklists.
  • Ensure online and in-person instruction supports required learning outcomes and prepares students for competency testing and employment.
  • Use student feedback, instructor input, exam results, and employer needs to improve program quality.
  • Partner with leadership to research, develop, and launch additional healthcare training programs.
  • Coordinate new program schedules, resources, equipment, instructor needs, and clinical experiences, ensuring program-specific qualifications and approvals are met.

Enrollment Growth and Outreach Support

  • Partner with the Administrator and Outreach Department to establish and support monthly enrollment and active student census goals.
  • Help grow online and in-person NATP offerings by identifying opportunities for additional cohorts, schedules, partnerships, and service areas.
  • Align course capacity, instructor availability, and clinical placement resources with anticipated student demand.
  • Support outreach through program presentations, prospective student information sessions, employer meetings, and community events.
  • Provide accurate program information and subject-matter support for marketing materials and recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborate on employer-sponsored cohorts and partnerships with healthcare facilities, schools, and workforce organizations.
  • Review enrollment trends and student barriers with outreach and administrative staff, then develop practical actions to improve enrollment, retention, and completion.

Student Success and Program Operations

  • Monitor student progress, attendance, skills competency, and readiness for certification testing.
  • Support instructors in addressing academic concerns and developing remediation plans.
  • Help maintain a professional, inclusive learning environment that supports students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Build and maintain clinical site relationships and coordinate clinical agreements with the Administrator.
  • Plan supply, equipment, and instructional resource needs within approved budgets.
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on program performance, staffing needs, growth opportunities, and improvement priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Montana Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • At least two years of nursing experience, including at least one year working in long-term care facility.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Montana DPHHS approval as the NATP Program Coordinator.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise instructors, coordinate multiple priorities, and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency with computers, online learning platforms, and electronic records.
  • Commitment to student success, confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and professional conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating or teaching in a NATP or other healthcare training program.
  • Experience developing curriculum and delivering online instruction.
  • Experience supervising staff and supporting instructor development.
  • Experience launching programs, expanding course offerings, or supporting enrollment growth.
  • Experience building relationships with clinical sites, employers, and community partners.
