Registered Nurse / Registered Practical Nurse

MedCare Clinics is looking for a Registered Nurse / Registered Practical Nurse to provide physician support in a busy Family Practice & Walk-In setting.

*MUST have FLEXIBILITY for ALL Shifts*

*MUST have Medical Office Administration Experience or Education*

Responsibilities and Duties include:

• Scheduling patient appointments
• Answering clinic phone calls (multiple lines)
• Faxing and scanning medical documents through EMR system (Accuro)
• Keeping track of inventory for medical and laboratory supplies
• Intake for external referrals in coordinate scheduling and follow up appoinments
• Sending outpatient referrals
• Assisting in cardiac testing
• Starting IV lines
• Monitoring IV drips
• Checking vitals for patients

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• RN Degree or RPN Diploma
• Registered with CNO
• Previous experience in a medical office serving multiple physicians
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records System (EMR)
• Phlebotomy, Venipuncture & Injections
• Infusion Monitoring Experience

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
