Part-time Registered Nurse

The Part-Time RN will work closely with Ownership and Client Care Managers to identify and deliver specific care needs to Seniors throughout the Community. He/She will also oversee in-house training programs to ensure compliance with system standards.

• Our staff has over 29 years of combined experience in nursing and nurse staffing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide training of field staff during new hire orientation
• Conduct Caregiver Skills Assessments and Health Screening during Orientation
• Assist in identifying and closing training gaps within staff
• Ensures that training programs meet internal and external compliance standards.
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local licensing and regulatory entities.
• Field supervisory visits to ensure compliance
• Conduct Nurse visits/assessments to determine care needs.
• Provide low-level medical care to patients in their homes:
• Medication Management
• Skin Assessments
• Participate in Marketing meetings and events with key referral sources
• Traveling to and from clients home

Qualifications:

• Previous industry experience required – Homecare, Hospice, Home Health, Nursing Home, Assisted Living
• Three years of related work experience is strongly preferred
• Dementia training or experience required
• Current RN Registration in the State of South Carolina
• Must have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills and follow-up skills with prospects, clients, and client families
• Ability to quickly build rapport with people of all cultures
• Ability to visit client homes in the assigned territory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet, Mac computer, and Outlook required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• To follow the state board of nursing scope of practice.

• Nursing Degree Required
