Job Title: Registered Nurse for Medsurg/Telemetry, PCU, ICU, ER, OR and L&D

Location: Atlanta, Fayetteville, Cartersville, Stockbridge, Augusta, GA

Shift: 3x12 & 4x12 ( Days, Nights)

Hours: 36 - 48hrs/week

Pay Rate: $55- $65/hr

Job Type: Contract with possible extensions

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories.
• Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and medication management.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth to document patient care and medical records precisely.
• Assist with complex procedures such as catheterization, suturing, wound care, and sterile technique maintenance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with acute or chronic conditions.
• Provide specialized care in areas such as critical care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or hospice & palliative medicine based on experience.
• Educate patients and families on health management strategies including nutrition, medication adherence, and discharge planning.
• Support triage processes in urgent care or emergency room settings to prioritize patient needs efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.

Requirements:

• RN License
• BLS

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 48.0 per week
