About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy for a 13-week contract in Bangor, Maine. The RN will provide patient care within the Endoscopy setting in accordance with applicable nursing standards, established policies and procedures, and the scope of practice authorized by the Maine Board of Nursing.

Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, organization, and multitasking skills while working closely with nursing leadership and other members of the clinical care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients receiving Endoscopy and procedural services.
• Assess patient needs, implement appropriate nursing interventions, and monitor patient response throughout the assigned episode of care.
• Perform nursing responsibilities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and applicable professional nursing standards.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate relevant patient information while supporting efficient departmental workflow.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required; Endoscopy or Procedural Nursing Experience Preferred.
• Current, Active Maine Registered Nurse License or Active Compact RN License Required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) Required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred.
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS Certifications Required.
• Current IV Certification Required; Strong Communication, Teamwork, and Multitasking Skills Required.
