Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - Full-Time/Night

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, practicing according to professional standards and evidence-based guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.
• Partner with patients and families, ensuring effective communication and respecting cultural diversity.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration and promote a respectful clinical environment.
• Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring colleagues, and serving as a preceptor.
• Participate in evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and system-wide safety standards.
• Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements, including safety goals.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's Nursing degree preferred.
• Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.
