Responsibilities and Duties

• Per diem float position for two offices: Westchester and Long Island
• Obtaining vital signs, placing allergy skin tests, administering injections, overseeing oral food challenges, preparing oral immunotherapy doses, assisting with emergency care, and providing patient education
• Performing blood draws for both pediatric and adult patients
• Proactive patient care including monitoring and responding to patient calls, messages, dose management, and EMR messages
• Administrative responsibilities include ordering labs, obtaining insurance approvals, scheduling, data entry, ordering medications and restocking clinical supplies
• Assisting with scheduling, rooming, and front desk duties while the office grows patient volume

Requirements

• Active New York RN license; preferred > 2 years of clinical practice
• BLS/CPR certification obtained within 30 days of hire
• Phlebotomy certification or experience with pediatric blood draws
• Background with Pediatrics and/or Allergy/Immunology
• Must be willing to float to both Westchester and Long Island offices
