Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room / Surgery

Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift
Work setting: On-site hospital

Are you an experienced OR nurse who enjoys being part of a skilled, fast-moving surgical team? We’re hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support inpatient and outpatient surgical care in a busy hospital operating room.

You’ll work alongside surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and fellow nurses to help patients receive safe, compassionate care before, during, and after surgery. This is a hands-on role with variety, teamwork, and opportunities to use your clinical judgment every day.

What you’ll do

• Assess patients and identify individualized care needs
• Deliver age- and condition-appropriate perioperative nursing care
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Provide timely, accurate clinical documentation
• Support safe, efficient patient flow throughout the surgical experience

The OR environment

This operating room has seven procedure rooms and supports a broad range of cases, including:

• Orthopedics and orthopedic trauma
• Sports medicine
• General surgery
• Gynecology
• Vascular and podiatry
• Spine procedures
• Robotic-assisted surgery
• Trauma and urology

What you’ll need

• Active RN license in West Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
• At least one year of surgical/operating room nursing experience
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire
• ASLS certification is preferred

• Salary: $62,000–$81,000 per year
