Registered Nurse School Setting - Dimock, PA

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid licensure as an RN, LPN/LVN, or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• Active, unencumbered license in Pennsylvania
• Prior experience working with children or adolescents is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary school team
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to students, including managing injuries, administering medications, and responding to emergencies
• Support students with chronic health needs and create individualized health care plans as required
• Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and required reporting according to school policies
• Provide health education and guidance for students, families, and staff as needed
• Promote a safe, healthy school environment and uphold infection control standards
• Collaborate with educators and school counselors to identify health-related barriers to learning
