Registered Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary

Our long-term skilled nursing facility is looking to hire a weekend RN supervisor.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert patient care across diverse clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support a wide range of medical services, from acute care to long-term management, empowering patients through personalized attention and evidence-based practices. Responsibilities

• Manage complex clinical procedures such as catheterizations, suturing, tube feeding, and ventilator management in various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities.
• Coordinate patient care plans through case management strategies tailored for diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring hospice or palliative care.
• Educate patients and their families on health coaching topics including medication administration, discharge planning, nutrition, and chronic disease management.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare standards including NCQA standards, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, infection control protocols, and documentation accuracy for medical records.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to perform thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations effectively.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations such as seniors in memory or assisted living facilities; behavioral health; or hospice settings is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and HIPAA privacy regulations to safeguard patient information at all times.
• Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration and patient education across outpatient clinics, hospital medicine units, home care services or urgent care centers.
