Registered Nurse Supervisor – Post Surgery PACU

The RN Supervisor oversees the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective nursing care, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

They collaborate with clinical and ancillary departments to meet quality, safety, and service excellence goals.

Key responsibilities include supervising nursing activities, monitoring patient outcomes, and managing staff performance, training, and development.

They assist in analyzing, planning, and implementing departmental processes, programs, and strategic plans to enhance operational, financial, and clinical effectiveness.

Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred), 2+ years clinical experience, and prior supervisory or management experience (preferred).

Required licenses include RN license and BLS.

Specific to the Post Surgical PACU, candidates should have ACLS and PALS certifications.

Additional requirements involve participation in orientation, competency validation, and ongoing education.

Skills include leadership, communication, staff development, and adherence to safety standards.

Work involves 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts, in a full-time capacity.
