Registered Nurse (RN)Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule: Weekends Only - Days 6am - 6pm

Buffalo Prairie Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team for a weekends-only position.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care to long-term care residents.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Perform nursing assessments and communicate changes in condition to physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Assist with developing, implementing, and updating individualized care plans.
• Supervise and provide direction to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to the nursing team during weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to providing excellent resident care.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
