Registered Nurses - Day Oncology Unit

About the role

South Eastern Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Day Oncology Unit team. In this part-time or casual role, you will be providing high-quality, compassionate care to our oncology patients. The Day Oncology Unit is located at our modern hospital facility in Noble Park, Victoria.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy and other day oncology treatments
• Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and provide symptom management
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised patient care plans
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

What we're looking for

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an acute oncology or medical-surgical nursing setting
• Strong clinical skills in medication administration, patient monitoring, and symptom management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
