Registered Nurses - Scrub/Scout (Ophthalmology)

We are seeking passionate and experienced Ophthalmology Nurses to join our new state-of-the-art hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new service, work alongside leading specialists, and deliver outstanding patient-centred care in a modern healthcare environment.

As a Scrub/Scout Ophthalmology Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting patients throughout their ophthalmic journey, assisting with procedures, pre and post-operative care, and delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.

About the new Midland Private Hospital

• A brand-new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility, currently under construction, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus.
• A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region

​The hospital will feature:

• 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependency unit
• 33 bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit
• Eight operating theatres
• A Cardiac Catheter Lab

​You will hold registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, and you will have Surgical Scrub Scout experience in the specialty of ophthalmology.

We can offer you

• Salary: $82,945 to $106,629 (pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
• Casual Hourly rate: $52.30 to $67.24 (includes casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
• Part time and casual opportunities available
