Registered Pharmacist

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely, following all applicable pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and best practices
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions before dispensing
• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and counselling to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and contraindications
• Maintain comprehensive records of all prescriptions and pharmaceutical transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation to ensure optimal stock levels and product integrity
• Perform quality control checks on medications and pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet established standards
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and other members of the healthcare team to optimise patient medication therapy
• Educate customers on medication adherence, proper administration techniques, and the importance of follow-up consultations
• Monitor and report adverse drug reactions and ensure appropriate documentation
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, providing guidance and training as required
• Maintain a clean, organised, and secure pharmacy environment that complies with health and safety standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.

• Newly licensed pharmacist are welcome to apply!

• Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and professional ethics in the Philippines

• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and point-of-sale software

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with diverse customers

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities accurately

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in English and Filipino; additional language skills are advantageous

• Certification in patient counselling or continuing education in pharmacy practice is a plus
