Registered Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and OTC medications accurately as per prescriptions and applicable regulations.
• Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and potential medication-related issues.
• Provide clear medication counseling to customers, including dosage, administration, precautions, and possible side effects.
• Verify prescriptions and maintain accurate pharmacy and customer records.
• Manage inventory, including stock receiving, storage, expiry monitoring, and controlled/regulated medicines where applicable.
• Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals regarding prescription clarifications when required.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of medicines.
• Monitor and minimize medication errors while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
• Support customers with OTC product selection and general medication-related queries within the scope of practice.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance standards within the pharmacy.
• Handle billing/POS processes and support day-to-day retail operations when required.
• Stay updated on relevant medicines, pharmacy practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, inspections, and other compliance activities.
• Contribute to achieving store service and operational targets while maintaining professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• B.Pharm / D.Pharm or equivalent recognized pharmacy qualification.
• Valid pharmacist registration/license as required by applicable local regulations.
• Prior retail/community pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of prescription medicines, OTC products, and pharmacy practices.
• Basic computer and billing/POS skills.

Pay: ₹24,200.00 - ₹29,000.00 per month
