Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Part Time Registered Pharmacist to join our friendly healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert pharmaceutical care, ensure medication safety, and support patient health outcomes across diverse clinical settings. Your expertise in pharmacy operations, patient assessment, and medical management will drive excellence in patient service and compliance with all regulatory standards. Set hours Monday - Friday, with the possibility of additional hours to help cover vacations. Must be willing to travel to our other pharmacy located in the St Joe/Benton Harbor area. Mileage compensation available.

Duties

• Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to state and federal pharmacy laws, including drug regulation and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapies, including pediatrics, pain management, and acute care cases.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services such as immunizations, medication administration guidance, and medical management support for diverse patient populations.
• Utilize Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Electronic Health Record (EHR), and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document patient interactions, medication histories, and clinical notes with strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans through medication therapy reviews, drug interaction analysis, and physiologically informed recommendations.
