Registered Pharmacist

Role Description

Promote the rational use of medications and support the medication-use process through safe dispensing, inventory management, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately
• Provide medications for in-patients and out-patients
• Monitoring drug inventory and stock levels
• Maintain controlled drug and regulatory records
• Assist in drug procurement and stock replenishment
• Counsel patients, caregivers and healthcare staff
• Identify potential drug interactions and incompatibilities
• Ensure compliance with FDA, DOH, and Hospital standards
• Participate in Quality Assurance programs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pharmacy

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Pharmacist in the Philippines with an active PRC registration.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems and basic computer applications.
• Effective communication and counseling skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to ethical practice, regulatory compliance, and continuous professional development.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as needed to support hospital operations.
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is an advantage, but newly licensed pharmacists are welcome to apply.
