Registered Pharmacy Technician

Hubbard Pharmacy is looking for a full time Registered Pharmacy Technician. As a well-established Pharmacy in St. Marys, Ontario, our priority is providing excellent patient care. Additional Qualifications Considered to be an Asset

• Experience with Kroll/Telus Health pharmacy software
• Previous community pharmacy experience

Education/Certification

• Pharmacy Technician Diploma from an accredited Community College
• Certified as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with OCP, in good standing
• Injection training and certification

Responsibilities

• Accurate entry and dispensing of prescription medications
• Technical verification of prescriptions and blister packs
• Blister pack preparation
• Preparing non-sterile compounds (Level A)
• Proficient in third party billing and insurance adjudication
• Train patients on use of drug administration and monitoring devices
• Handling prescription drop-off and pickup
• Ensuring the proper storage of pharmaceuticals and maintaining inventory
• Managing workflow within the dispensary
• Maintaining patient confidentiality
• Greeting customers and managing inquiries appropriately
