Registered Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmasave healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy operations, patient care, and medical terminology, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. As a Registered Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists by preparing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional service to patients. Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and proper storage procedures.
• Provide patient care support by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively to interpret prescriptions and communicate with healthcare providers.
• Support medication administration processes for hospital or clinical settings, ensuring proper documentation.

Experience

• Prior experience working as a pharmacy technician in community environment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in pharmacy technician responsibilities, including medication preparation and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations and patient care.
• Experience supporting medication administration within healthcare settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Knowledge of pharmacy Kroll software systems and electronic health records is advantageous.
• Certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician according to local regulatory requirements is required or preferred.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
