Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions to identify impairments and functional limitations
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and rehabilitation exercises
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and uphold infection control practices during all patient interactions

Requirements

• Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction
• Proven experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care environments
• Experience providing physiotherapy services to pediatric patients is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical assessment techniques
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail
