Registered Plumbing Apprentice – 2,000+ TSBPE Hours Required

This position is only for applicants who:

• Are currently registered as a Plumbing Apprentice with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE)
• Have at least 2,000 documented plumbing hours on record with TSBPE
• Have a valid driver's license

If you do not currently have 2,000+ documented TSBPE hours, please do not apply.

This is also not a posting for an already-licensed plumber. We are specifically looking for an experienced registered apprentice who is ready to continue developing toward the next level of licensing and build a long-term career with Patriot Plumbing.

Patriot Plumbing Service Inc. is a growing residential service plumbing company. We are looking for one person we can invest in, train, and develop—not someone simply looking for their next short-term job.

The right person is dependable, comes to work prepared, accepts coaching, takes pride in doing things correctly, and wants to become a better plumber.

We understand you are still an apprentice. We do not expect you to know everything. We do expect you to have a solid foundation after 2,000+ hours in the trade and a genuine desire to continue learning.

You should be comfortable with hard work, changing schedules, working outdoors, getting dirty, and occasionally starting early or staying later when the work requires it.

What You Will Be Doing & Learning

You will work alongside experienced plumbing professionals performing residential service work including:

• Drain cleaning and stoppages
• Water heater repair and replacement
• Water and sewer line repairs
• Leak detection and plumbing diagnostics
• Fixture repairs and replacements
• Residential utility work
• Proper use and care of plumbing tools and equipment
• Customer communication
• Job documentation and photos
• Residential plumbing codes, procedures, and workmanship standards

Minimum Requirements

You must meet all of the following to be considered:

• Current TSBPE Plumbing Apprentice Registration
• Minimum 2,000 documented plumbing hours with TSBPE
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical plumbing work, including lifting, digging, climbing, and working in confined spaces
• Professional attitude around customers and coworkers
• Willingness to be coached, learn, and follow company procedures
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
