Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospice care, assisted living, and acute care environments. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.

Duties

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and pain management.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the appropriate medical staff.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and medication usage.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner for documentation and patient management.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the medical office or healthcare facility.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Experience

• Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license in good standing.
• Previous experience in hospice care, assisted living, or acute care settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in medication administration and pain management techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• A commitment to providing compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
