Q1 Medical is a family focused medical group of clinics operating out of 4 sites in Hoppers Crossing, Melton, Braybrook and Lucas. Our doctors have a special interest in Internal Medicine, Men & Women’s Health, Child Health & Maternity Care, Skin Health, Minor Procedures and Aged Care.

The clinical and administrative team at Q1 Medical proactively works together in treating everyday health issues with a focus on prevention.

Q1 Medical is growing and we are now looking for Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2-year experience in General Practice. The ideal person would have the compassionate and empathic personality traits and is to undertake the following functions:

Providing clinical nursing services through:

• triage
• assessment
• therapeutic care and treatment
• diagnostic services
• clinical data management
  Coordinating patient services through:
• networking with the other services
• integration of service delivery
• planning and management of care
• providing information and feedback between the services, patients and GP
• patient advocacy
  Assisting the clinical environment to meet relevant standards and legislative.
  requirements in:
• infection control
• cold chain monitoring
• records management
• occupational health and safety
• accreditation process
  Promoting patient, carer and community well-being through:
• health information
• education
• specific programs
• community development
• self-care / self-management education
  Management of human and material resources in the practice through:
• optimizing the use of the professional resources
• building practice capacity
• maximizing financial efficiency
  Enhancing the management and prevention of ill health through:
• health screening
• immunization
• recall
• patient education
• outreach services
• systems management
• acute-and chronic-disease management
  You must have the right to work in Australia and be able to provide the following:
• National Police Check
• Working with Children Check
