What they need
Ridgeline Therapy is a psychological group serving St. Albert and the surrounding communities. We are committed to supporting individuals, couples, and families on their journeys toward emotional well-being through compassionate, client-centred care and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
We strive to provide a collaborative and supportive work environment where clinicians can grow professionally, build meaningful connections with clients, and make a positive impact in the community.
We are currently seeking a Registered Psychologist or Registered Provisional Psychologist to join our growing team. We are particularly interested in clinicians with experience in play therapy and couples therapy, as well as those who enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults.

We are especially interested in clinicians with a background in play therapy, child therapy, and couples counselling. Experience in both play therapy and couples therapy would be an asset, but is not required. Candidates with strength in either area, alongside a willingness to contribute to our team, are encouraged to apply.
Availability on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays is required, with scheduling arrangements based on the clinician’s availability.

- Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults, according to the clinician’s scope of practice and areas of competence.
- Provide play-based therapeutic interventions for children, where trained and qualified.
- Offer couples therapy to partners seeking support with communication, relationship challenges, conflict, and connection, where trained and qualified.
- Develop collaborative, individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s needs and therapeutic goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in accordance with applicable ethical, legal, and professional standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and remain informed about current research and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support a positive, professional, and client-focused team environment.
Qualifications

- Experience or training in one or more of the following areas:
- Play therapy and child-focused interventions.
- Child and adolescent therapy.

- Individual therapy with clients across the lifespan.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.
- Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to ethical, client-centred care.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
- Availability to provide sessions on at least one of the following days: Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
