Registered Radiologic Technologist | Maxicare Valenzuela

As a vital member of our primary care team, the Radiologic Technologist (X-ray) is responsible for conducting imaging tests utilizing the X-ray machine. Their responsibilities include ensuring the safety and comfort of patients upholding quality care standards and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver timely results.

• Conduct daily checks of imaging equipment, perform tube warm-ups, machine cleaning, and set up the X-ray room with all necessary equipment
• Responsible for the proper use of company systems and PACS, including Emedcore and Lifesys
• Perform thorough and accurate patient medical history before the procedure
• Adhere to all safety protocols (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Operate X-ray machine to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with Radiologists and other specialists / requesting physician to interpret patients' result
• Maintain accurate medical records, secure proper handling of patient information, and exercise discretion when storing and emailing patient results
• Complies with requirements for license renewal and other mandatory regulations

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Radiologic Technology; must be licensed
• Knowledgeable with radiation safety protocols
• Strong understanding of imaging protocol positioning and techniques
• Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and other medical terminologies
• Computer Proficient
• Proficient in operating X-ray machine
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
